libgypsy-dev software package provides A GPS Multiplexing Daemon (Development Package), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgypsy-dev
libgypsy-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgypsy-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgypsy-dev *
You will get with libgypsy-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
